Fariha Pervez is one of the leading female singer of Pakistan. She started her career with anchoring and acting, appearing in several drama serials including the famous Kid's drama "Ainak Wala Jin" subsequently she swithced to singing with the release of her first album titled "Nice and Naughty" in 1996.
She has since released seven albums and received several awards as best female singer. She has appeared in many TV music programmes and sung several songs for the popular "Virsa (heritage)" serial of traditional music hosted by famous cultural icon, Main Yousuf Salahuddin.
Fareeha inherited her singing talent from her father. She is among the most versatile singers in the country who has the ability to perform in folk, Classical, semi-classical, ghazal, bhangra, as well as modern pop style music.

KUWAIT: The Society of Pakistani Doctors in Kuwait (SPDK) has been scrupulously and proactively involved in providing professional health advice and guidance on common health problems, serving ailing persons who can’t afford medical expenses. This service facilitates patients to express and explain their health issues in their native language without communication barriers and limitations with Arabic speaking doctors.
Our efforts to hold medical camps practically negate the general perception that doctors are heartless individuals. Doctors’ volunteer services and their dedication in our camps are remarkable and every new camp is attracting more number of people and all possible services are being extended.
SPDK, as usual, held a free medical camp in Pakistan English School and College, Jaleeb Sheukh on 27 November 2015. The camp was held from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm and more than 900 patients (males, females and children) from multiple nationalities with greater number of Pakistanis visited the camp.
All individuals were screened for their Blood sugar and Blood pressure level and were accordingly advised. Blood sugar check up was arranged by Kuwait Diabetes Society providing consultancy and printed material to diabetic patients on causes and control of diabetes.
A wide range of doctors covering all major specialties, medicine, general surgery, cardiology, pediatrics, neurosurgery, ENT and dermatology, were available to give professional health advice to the patients. The patients were also offered free medicines.
